Our lovely Ebony came to us from a pound after we spotted a post on their page asking for help. Ebony had been picked up as a stray a few weeks earlier with a fracture to the top of her thigh. We had Ebony Xrayed and our vets decided that because the fracture was old and had started to heal itself that no surgery was needed. We rested Ebony and kept her on lead walks until we were happy that she had fully healed.

A small sized but chunky Lurcher/Whippet, Ebony is approximately 18 months old, always full of joy and has an infectious zest for life. Her tail is permanently wagging and she always seems to have the biggest grin on her face.

Ebony loves people of all ages and sizes and likes to let them know that with lots of kisses. She has met and had some off lead play with other male sighthounds and enjoys their company but she would equally be happy as an only dog in the home once she has human company for most of the day.

She walks well on her lead, travels well and is more often than not clean in her kennel.
She loves to play with her toys and have off lead zoomies in a secure field, something that is important to her.

Ebony could live with older children but may be a little too bouncy for very small toddlers, but she means no harm. She cannot live with cats or other small furries.

Ebony is sure to bring a lot of happiness, love and fun to a home and once she has had her walks/plays she is happy to chill on the sofa in true lurcher style.

Ebony loves everyone she meets and will make a great family pet. She is quite a character who loves her zoomies. She needs a secure garden and cannot live with cats. She is a delightful girl who will bring lots of joy, fun and laughter to a home.
