Siren
Siren came into our care a couple of weeks ago after she was found straying on fields by a local. With no kennel space he very kindly kept her safe for a week until we could say yes. Siren arrived extremely emaciated, full of worms and ticks. Whatever her previous life had been it most definitely wasn't one of love, comfort and care.
She arrived without a collar or a chip and we without a phone call looking for a missing wire haired pointer.
We believe Siren to be between 2 to 3 years old. She has slowly gained some much needed weight and has started to open up to us. She loves a run around the fields and walks very well on her lead. She has met and socialised well with other dogs on lead walks but we do see some female bossy characteristics at times (we bet all the men are nodding their heads reading this) but nothing more than usual.
We feel that Siren would be happy as an only dog or with a male dog who doesn't mind being told what to do from time to time. She has had off lead playtime with a male dog and is a bit of a tomboy so a dog who is similar in size would be ideal. We have no history of Siren with young children so possibly teenagers and above would suit.
Siren is a calm, gentle sweet natured girl who can be a little introverted to start but once she knows you is open to cuddles and attention (see photos below). Yesterday Siren went on a walk to our local marina where she walked perfectly past cars, people, bikes and was more than happy to chill on the grass and watch all the goings on....especially the ducks!
Siren really does deserve a chance to become part of a family where she will be loved and kept safe always as she is a beautiful soul.
Siren is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped (available on request).
