Our two super sweet Beagle x sisters Bee and Bumble have started to search for their forever homes. They arrived to us from Carlow/Kilkenny pound and are now spayed, vaccinated and chipped. While the girls get on well we are not looking to rehome them together. Approximately 12 to 15 months old, Bee and Bumble are two of the loveliest girls you could meet. They are smaller than your average Beagle so we think there may be another smaller breed mixed through.

They took a visit into our local town for the first time and it soon became obvious that neither Bee or Bumble have seen much of the outside world in their previous life. Both girls walk well on the lead and, after a bit of coaxing got into our van, travelled quietly in the back. Both were happy to take a walk up the Marina road where there was little traffic but both did well with the couple of cars that did pass.

Bee is a little more unphased by things, whilst Bumble likes to have a look first and work it out before happily trotting by. Both girls, being Beagles, love a good sniff so it wasn't the fastest walk up to the Castle Coffee Shop.

Both were as good as gold as we sat with our Lattes though Bumble was quick enough to spot one of the humans also had a bun !! (She actually had TWO Buns so Bumble felt it was only fair she shared🤣) but listened well when told No, whilst Bee was busy watching people coming and going, doing her best to get them to come over to give her rubs.

Bee and Bumble are very affectionate with humans (can be a little shy for all of 30secs) and love snuggling for cuddles. They are both extremely sociable with every dog they have met (both have been submissive towards them).

They love a good run around our fields, at the sanctuary, but with their Beagle noses they can tend to enter into the hedges etc so both will need fully secure gardens with no gaps or their noses could lead them further afield!!

If living as an only dog they will need homes where there is someone around for most part of the day, or at least a good chunk of it as we understand people do need to work, or both could happily live with other dogs, pending a meet and greet.

We see no reason, with their sweet, kind and loving natures, why Bee or Bumble cannot live with dog respectful children. They really are two beautiful little girls who are just longing to be loved. They are going to bring a lot of joy, love and laughter to any home.
