On Monday we welcomed this very pretty 2.5 yr old Springer Spaniel Girl, Bailey, into our GalwaySPCA Family. Sadly Bailey had to find a rescue space, due to a change in her families circumstances and a good few weeks ago they reached out us for advice and help. We offered Bailey a space with us but we just couldn't put a time frame on it due to the constant demand on any available kennel to those who are abandoned or injured on the streets, fields or bogs. Her family understood and were willing to wait.

There were many tears as Baileys Mum and Dad said goodbye to her and we completely understand and respect their emotions. Not every surrender is an excuse to "get rid", sometimes there are genuine reasons.

Bailey was a little unsure of her new surroundings for a few hours but she has quickly settled in and is a sweet natured, kind and loving girl.
