Our beautiful, gentle and sweet-natured, tripod, Lurcher girl, Nya is ready and hopeful to start the search for her forever home. Those who have followed her story will know that a month ago Nya was battling for her life after she was rescued from a rural laneway where she had been discarded and left to die with horrific injuries to her hind leg. An old injury had been left untreated and infection and gangrene had set in. One month on and she has left those dark days behind her.

Nya is approximately 5 years old. She is just the kindest and chilled of lurchers and is adapting really well, and quickly, to being a tripod. She has been on a day trip to our local marina and coffee shop where she stopped to say hello to anyone interested. She attended our annual dog show last weekend and was literally the best behaved dog there! She said hello to all the dogs big or small, all the people big or small and also came 2nd in our egg and spoon race!

Nya is a girl who would love a home where she can, for the first time in her life, be loved. We see no reason why Nya can't live with respectful children or other dogs, pending a meet and greet. She would be equally happy as an only dog but would love if her humans were around a lot of the day, for company.

Nya loves a little zoomie around and loves a walk but her greatest love, we have discovered, is chilling on the sofa!! She travels quietly in a car and would love to be involved in all the trips and adventures.

Nya will make a wonderful addition to any home as she is calm, loving, gentle and kind. The list is endless. Anyone who already has a Tripod knows that nothing holds them back.
