Last September we took Woodpecker from the pound and for the last months he happily lived in a wonderful home. Unfortunately, due to a change in circumstances, Woodpecker needs to find a new home. We have spoken at length with his current Mum and Dad and, while it is a heart breaking situation all round, it is definitely in Woodpeckers best interests.

Woodpecker is approximately 15 months old. He is a hairy terrier boy who has the most beautiful temperament and personality. He adores people and other dogs. He absolutely loves cuddles, car trips, walks and also likes a swim.

He is perfect on the lead and off, once he has bonded with you. He is toilet trained and just the sweetest, kindest dog you could hope to meet. We are looking for a home with another dog (or dogs) and a home where there is someone at home all the time as Woodpecker does fret if he is left alone. He goes on his holidays to a home sitter who has cats and he is fine with them (these cats live with a gang of Chihuahuas and are well used to laying down the law) so Woodpecker could live in a home with a confident dog savvy cat.
He does like to sleep on his humans bed at night or, at least, in their room so we really are looking for a dog lover here who won't mind the company.

Woodpecker is the perfect best friend but is a little needy in the most loving way.
He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
