Lake

A couple of weeks ago we were contacted by a member of the public who woke up to find this lovely girl in their back garden. They fed her and gave her a blanket in their porch before they had to head out the door. To their amazement she was still there when they returned that evening and so they contacted us. Just as were about to head out to collect her they rang to say she had disappeared. Two days later she reappeared and this time she was secured until a member of our team arrived.
We named her LAKE and settled her in. She had no microchip, no collar and an old injury to her front leg had been left untreated.

Lake is the sweetest of Saluki x girls. Calm, gentle, unassuming and happy to go with the flow. She is approximately 4/5 years old. She also has a fun side and has been busy keeping the young, willful Ronnie Biggs, the Loughrea Saluki, in check out in our fields.

Lake walks beautifully on the lead, travels well and is clean in her kennel. She weighs 23kg so is medium sized. Still a little aloof, at time, that is so often the Saluki trait but in Lakes case she simply has never received love and attention that she so deserves.

Lake is now ready to find her forever home. We feel that Lake would be fine as an only dog as long as she has some human company throughout the majority of the day or she could live with another easy going dog that likes the quiet life. We have no history of Lake with children but see no reason why she couldn't live with respectful older children, pending a meet and greet. We also have no history of Lake with cats or small furries but feel a home without either are best suited to her.

This lovely respectful lady deserves a fab home where she can enjoy daily walks and chilling on the sofa.
