Rhonda

Rhonda, the Rottie, is looking for a private rehoming. As with any private rehoming we do, an experienced member of our team has visited and assessed Rhonda in her current home and this team member is a past Rottie owner.

At 14 weeks old, Rhonda, it would be easy to assume that Rhonda is just a big, goofy bundle of puppy. Of course she is but she is already her own character. Adorable, intelligent, affectionate and playful. But also opinionated, bossy, strong willed and clever enough to work out who she can walk all over and who she can't.

Rhonda is looking for a new home as an only dog with people who have Rottie or big breed experience. She needs a home that understands all the amazing traits rotties have but who also understand the importance of obedience training, routine, controlled socialising and expecting, but also giving, respect.

As Rhonda is a puppy she needs a home where there is someone at home all day throughout her early months. A home without small children (teenagers up) and no cats as she is already terrorising the existing cat, and dog. *No* is not a word that Rhonda likes to hear or be told and she will let you know it too.

Rhonda has already learned basic commands so further training should be enjoyable for everyone. She is a fabulous girl who is, unfortunately, in the wrong environment and home for what she needs. We are fully behind the owners decision to do better by Rhonda and their existing pets.

We’re sometimes told we’re too strict or have too many rules when it comes to rehoming but, honestly, we take that almost as a compliment. It means that we’re putting our dogs first. Rhonda is the perfect example of why our standards matter. We don’t outline these needs to make adoption difficult — we do it because we want every dog to be a forever pet, not one that ends up back in the system. Each dog is an individual and it is our responsibility to place them in the right environment for their personality, their breed and their future. Rhonda deserves the right home, not just any home.

If you are a Rottie Person and understand exactly what we are looking for in a home for Rhonda please complete an adoption form.
