This very sweet lurcher girl was found straying in and out of her so called 'home' onto the road. She was seized by the local Dog warden who asked us for help.

Of course it wouldn't be a Heathlawn welcome if there wasn't a new hound collar awaiting her as she stepped off our van. Our thanks to our lovely friend Alex, at Silver Peacock,who recently sent over another beautiful bag of hound collars that she makes specially for our kennel hounds. A new collar is a symbol of a new life and is always a very special moment for us. A little scared and unsure going into kennels but her lovely neighbour Aquarius was there to lend her a friendly nose and reassure her.

Valu is just the sweetest, kindest and gentlest of girls who has settled in well and is now loving racing around our fields and has made lots of new human and doggy friends.
