Another Neglected and Abandoned Baby was found a few days ago. This teeny, tiny pup was found cowering at the side of the road about half a km from our sanctuary. It is approximately 10 weeks old and has already suffered neglect and cruelty that no animal should.

His fur was completely matted so badly that we had to cut off clumps of fur.
His paws and underbelly were stained with his own urine and faeces.
He had a massive lice infestation.
His little tummy was bloated with the huge worm burden he carried.

In the space of 10 short weeks "somebody" allowed this baby to live in filth and squalor. They ignored his suffering and stood by as his condition worsened. And then the ultimate betrayal...They threw him out like a piece of rubbish, not caring that the chances of him surviving were practically non existent.

But, for whatever reason, survive this little chap did and after receiving the best veterinary treatment from the team at A Country Practice Vet Clinic and lots of TlC from our kennel team, he is now nearly unrecognisable as the sad, defeated, neglected puppy we carried through our gates earlier this week.
