Roxy

In January, a terrified little red terrier was spotted curled up behind fencing in an Industrial estate in Tuam, snarling and snapping in fear anytime a human approached. We asked one of our long time foster mums Lily Ann, mum to many Chihuahuas, to pop up and take a look. With some patient coaxing and treats she got her into her car and, of course, there was no question that this scared little girl was going anywhere else other than home with Lily Ann and her family as yet another "project".

It took some time to allow Roxy her space but now, a few months on, Roxy is a different dog thanks to all the hard work of the Ralph Family.

*Roxy is a typical cheeky, happy terrier
*Loves company of other dogs
*Fine with cats.
*Needs someone with her most of the time at home as she loves the lap and her cuddles
*Can be quite needy and likes to put holes in my socks when she is being ignored

Roxy would love a home with another dog and humans around who love a cuddle just like she does. She needs a fully secure garden, as is required for all our dogs.

If you think the beautiful Roxy might find her forever home with you please complete an online adoption form.
