Gouda

Hoping to find her forever home here in Ireland is the very beautiful Gouda. She was found straying with a practically severed toe injury (thankfully very nearly healed). Gouda is a typical Sighthound loving, kind, affectionate, gentle, fun and oh so forgiving.

A young girl, approximately 14/16 months old, Gouda would also be the perfect starter hound. She loves a zoomie and a play and is then more than happy to lie with all 4 paws in the air chilling. There are no other dogs quite like the Sighthounds (Greyhound, Lurcher, Saluki. Whippet) who do the "chill factor" to such perfection.

Naturally quite lazy minded dogs (there's always the exception) they are also great for walks, hikes and adventures (not so much the Greyhound) and make the most wonderful family pets.

Gouda is all of the above and would ideally love a home where her humans either work from home or are retired. She could also live with another dog pending a meet and greet.
She walks well on the lead, loves the car and is housetrained. Gouda is super friendly and, like so many hounds, we feel that she can live happily alongside respectful children.

Gouda has not been cat tested but can be arranged if the perfect match requires it.
A fully secure garden and an indoor home only.

In compliance with DAFM Legislation, the Galway SPCA unique certificate number is GPT200022C.

Gouda's Microchip number can be provided on request.
