Foster Home Needed

Still they keep coming!!

Despite being FULL and overwhelmed right now we are receiving anywhere between 8 to 10 calls a day from people looking to surrender their dogs. A few have valid reasons that with a little bit of time and patience could not be worked on. We prioritise those who are left abandoned on the fields, streets and bogs first because they have absolutely nobody.
Like these 3 approximately 12/14 week old babies (possibly Sprollies) who were found in Aughrim, outside Ballinasloe.
What started off as an already stressful day, which is every day in rescue, turned into more stress and panic because where the hell were these babies to go??

It's not ideal but we moved a dog into an office (not really suitable) but, as always, our amazing kennel team has come up trumps and given these puppies the safe haven their former owner couldn't be bothered to do.

Yes, we could go on and on and on about the absolute shipwreck that animal welfare in this country stands at today but at this stage we have sadly become used to the constant strain on our minds, body and bank balance (do we even have a balance??)

It is what it is and we are tired of fighting what is a losing battle so it's all hands on deck to get these 3 innocent babies settled in and loved. They will have a vet visit for a health check, microchip and vaccines.

If you are in a position to help by offering one of these pups a foster home that would be a big help. A home where pup will have humans around all day for socialising, enclosed gardens and willing to put up with house training, and lead training etc.
