Our Calendar Girl “Pippy” or "Georgie Pip" or " Hey, Stop that!! is ready for her forever home! Pippy is a 2year old Monks Parakeet, has completed her full behavioural and medical assessments, is officially ready to spread her wings and begin the search for her perfect family!

This delightful little girl is everything you’d expect from a Quaker. Bright, bold, brimming with personality and endlessly curiosity. Pippy is fun, friendly, super intelligent and always eager to be part of whatever you’re doing. If you ever wished for a tiny companion who follows you like a devoted shadow, Pippy may just be your match! But make no mistake, she’s a confident girl with opinions of her own.

Pippy thrives on structure and will absolutely test boundaries if she is allowed to. For this reason, she is best suited to a bird-savvy home with someone who can offer loving guidance alongside clear rules.

A few things to know about Pippy:-
She is chatty & expressive
She loves to be heard, so a home without adjoining neighbours would be ideal.
She is active & inquisitive - This isn’t a bird who will be content in a cage for long stretches. She needs safe, predator-free, supervised freedom to explore and stay enriched.
She can live with other birds but she is very bossy and may bully more timid flock members.

Any home with existing birds must be ready for careful introductions.
Pippy has had a full health-check. Pippy has tested clear of PDD and PBFD. Potential adopters with birds will need to provide proof that their flock is also clear before any mixing takes place. An Indoor home only is required with lots of interaction, companionship and mental stimulation to help Pippy truly flourish.

Pippy is a wonderful little character,and in the right home she will be an entertaining, affectionate and deeply rewarding companion!

Birds can bring unbelievable joy, but they also require commitment, understanding, and patience.

Prior avian experience isn’t essential, but a solid knowledge of their needs and a willingness to learn and keep learning is absolutely key.
