George
Gorgeous George is looking for his forever home! This handsome fella is searching for a special home where he can feel safe, loved and truly part of the family. George is a sweet but shy boy who enjoys company and would benefit from a patient, understanding humans who will give him the time and space he needs to settle in and build his confidence.
A little about George and his needs:-
Due to complications during his neutering, George has a retained testicle. Because of this, he cannot be rehomed with females and careful consideration must be given to any potential male companion.
He could potentially live with another young, relaxed male, but slow, careful introductions and plenty of space would be essential.
George must live indoors as part of the family, with lots of human interaction and attention. Supervised outdoor access during the summer would be a lovely bonus! Ideally, we would love George to have companionship, as we know how important company is to herd animals. However, keeping entire males together can carry serious risks, including potentially fatal fighting, so this isn't always a safe or suitable option.
Could George live as a single boy? Potentially, yes provided his home can offer him plenty of interaction, enrichment, affection and attention. We don't live in an ideal world, and sometimes we have to work with the options available to us. Our job is to find George the best possible home where his needs are understood, his safety comes first, and he will be loved for the wonderful boy he is.
Could you be the special person George has been waiting for?
