There’s a new boss in town and he is bigger than the last!!! Joey headed off to his forever home this week and when Fred heard there was an opening in our Galway SPCA Shop, Briarhill he decided it was time for a promotion from Office Admin to Shop Floor Security!

Fred is absolutely loving his new role and all the attention that comes with it. He is completely unfazed by the hustle and bustle of the shop and seems very happy to supervise everything going on around him!

While Fred is enjoying his new position, he is still looking for his forever home. At 11 years old, Fred is one of those cats who can easily be overlooked while younger cats and kittens are also waiting.

Senior cats have so much love to give and Fred certainly has plenty of affection to share. So while he waits for someone to see just how special he is, we’re making sure Fred gets all the attention, fuss and affection he could possibly want. And, of course, he’ll be keeping a very close eye on the shop in the meantime because, apparently, that’s what the new boss does!
