Tripp

Our beautiful labrador boy Tripp headed off to his new home in Co Clare with his new Mum and Dad, Monica and Martin.

Tripp arrived to us after he was very kindly picked up, as a stray, from Ballinasloe Bog and came into our care.  He was a very subdued boy, his coat covered in burnt oil, he was underweight and full of fleas and worms. He showed all the signs of having led a life of misery and neglect. But Tripp soon learned that not all humans would bring him harm and it wasn't long before he was galloping around our fields, playing ball and enjoying life.

With the loss of their previous lab boy Monica and Martin knew a house was not a home without the company and love of a dog and when they saw Tripp they immediately put in an application. They arrived, spent some time with Tripp and fell in love and it was safe to say that Tripp felt the same way.

We already that they had some fencing to erect in order to fully secure their garden and it wasn't long before Martin was telling Monica to come on so he could get home, start the fencing and return for Tripp the next day (all going well). And, true to his word, Martin got the job done in record time and both he and Monica were back in our carpark the following day, lead in hand and a big smile on their faces.

Tripp headed off with his favourite ball and we hear that he has settled in really welll and is loving the freedom of home life,  enjoying the sunshine, his daily walks and, of course, loving his new family.

We are, as always, forever grateful to all the wonderful people who choose to adopt one of our equally wonderful dogs.
