When we visited Galway County Pound, in October, we saw a young 5/6 month old pup that had been brought in as a stray. With no kennel space available at the time we contacted a lovely lady called Dani who had previously fostered a dog for us, Spoons, to see if she could help. Thankfully she said yes and it was in that moment that Tooks life started to change for the better.
In turn, once ready for rehoming, Took was spotted by a lovely couple Naomi and Chris who were now ready to welcome a dog into their lives and homes and, following in both their families footsteps, they knew it had to be a rescue dog.
So in early December Took got to enter an even bigger and better world, no longer a stray or a pound dog, no longer a kennel or foster dog, as a "Forever Dog" and all just in time for his very first Christmas.
With patience, kindness, routine and love from Naomi and Chris, Took, now Ziggy is blossoming into a confident, well rounded young teenager and they couldn't imagine their home without him.
Again the willingness of kind people ready to give a rescue dog their chance.
We salute and thank you.
