The week before Christmas little Tiptoes dreams finally came true. His profile had been spotted by Conor and Kathleen who promptly filled in an adoption form. We had a chat with them that evening and we absolutely loved their eagerness and excitement about coming to meet Tiptoe in the hope that it would be the match we all thought it could be.
And we were the lucky ones the next day as we witnessed the sheer joy and love as Conor and Kathleen got to meet the little boy whose photo they had fallen in love with. And it restores our faith.
It was safe to safe that after half an hour with Tiptoe galloping around, bouncing off the sofas, armchairs, laps, heads and anything else in his path in Pacos Den, Conor and Kathleen were happily signing their adoption contract. They loved Tiptoes exuberant, friendly, puppy like personality and were not one bit put off by his "bouncing". He had put the smiles back on their faces and joy in their hearts after the recent sad loss of their 16 year dog, Rocky. Tiptoe was a breath of fresh air or maybe more a Tornado and they loved it.
We hear that Tiptoe has settled into home life immediately and is loving being a forever dog. He has been on the "naughty list" a few times but who wanted those pesky bills in the door anyway and who needs TWO shoes!!! Conor and Kathleen are delighted with their boy and are happily getting out and about on their walks, trips and do their best to have chill time on the sofa. Tiptoe loves his mum and dad and they love him and that's what its all about.
Our grateful thanks to Conor and Kathleen for opening up their hearts and home to a little boy who was so sadly left on the streets to fend for himself at such a young age. And we are delighted too.
