Little Sandie came into our care after being found as a stray on the streets. No Chip, No Collar and No worried owners calling to look for. At only 5/6 months old Sandie had already seen the harsh side of life at the hands of humans. She was lucky enough to bag herself a wonderful foster home with one of our long standing foster mums Anita and Sandie started to blossom into the playful, carefree puppy she never got to be before.
Sandie proved popular on our website once she started looking for her forever home but one application just seemed to have that little extra special something that we knew Sandie needed as she continued her journey. Enter Clare and her little dog Bailey and, also, Granny who was so excited at the prospect of yet another hairy grandchild!
And there it was, the perfect match!!
It has been a few weeks since Sandie, now Poppy, made the move to beautiful West Cork and with love, care and patience has settled in amazingly well together her new life. She has definitely found her inner puppy as we hear there have been lots of mysterious goings on in the home such as missing shoes, socks etc.
Another lost soul who was found, rehabilitated and rehomed through dedication, passion, love and teamwork.
We would like to say a huge thank you to Clare and Bailey for opening up their hearts and homes to a GalwaySPCA rescue doggie.
