Our lovely senior lady, Rusty, headed off to her forever home with Simon and Freddie.
After some skilful wrangling from our team to get her into a carrier, she was finally ready for the journey. When Rusty decides she doesn't want to do something, it's very difficult to persuade her otherwise! Thankfully, both team and cat emerged completely unscathed and Rusty made the trip to Co. Clare in style. We've been told she serenaded Simon for the entire journey!
It didn't take her long after arriving to find all the comfiest spots for a snooze in her private room, where she'll settle in at her own pace before she begins meeting some of her new feline housemates.
A massive thank you, as always, to Freddie and Simon for opening their hearts and home to another of our senior cats!
We also want to send our deepest condolences to them on the loss of their very special boy, Silvester. While no animal can ever replace another, we hope Rusty brings comfort, companionship, and a little extra love as they heal, filling the quiet with something positive once again.
