Mr. Tickles

Many of you will remember this little old man that was found wandering along the streets of Ballinasloe earlier this year. He had so many issues going on that we really didn't know where to start but thanks to the amazing vet team at A Country Practice Vet Clinic he got through some major procedures despite having a severe heart murmur.
Once ready, Mr Tickles came back into our care and was lucky enough to find a foster home with the lovely Clarke Family and for the first time in his life Mr T. understood what is was like to be safe, loved and cared for. He also discovered the joy of a comfy bed, caring hands and walks around the farm.
We all know oldies are the best but sometimes its not always easy to find someone willing to adopt them ,warts and all and we really couldn't say just how long Mr T. has left. We were searching for a very special person.
Enter Wendy. Wendy had seen Mr. Tickles homing appeal on our social media, filled in a form and waited. It was a beautifully written application and we could just feel the love and need to want to help and heal Mr T. from her words. We invited her down to meet him.
And their meet n greet? It was literally love at first sight for Wendy (Mr T. wanted to see what was in her pockets before he made up his mind) and soon we were watching them snuggled up on the sofa in Pacos Den having a great chat.
It has been a few months since Mr. T. now known as "Mr. Jerry Monkey Tickles" went to live with Wendy. He has gained a nana, a grandad and lots more extended family who all adore him. He has a wardrobe of new coats/jumpers and spends his days being driven around to new places enjoying new adventures and is totally spoilt.
We are so very, very grateful to the wonderful Wendy for opening up her heart and home to our little old man, as we are to Emma and the rest of the Clarke Family for minding him so well through his foster care.
Mr. T. has found a new lease of life, made possible by kindness and love.
