We first met Inis, late one evening, as a staff member was making her way home in traffic. A heavily pregnant, terrified dog, dodged cars and lorries on a busy road.
Four days later in our sanctuary Inis gave birth to nine healthy babies. Inis proved to be an excellent mum, despite being only a youngster herself, and helped by our kennel team she reared them into beautiful puppies.
When it was time for Inis to put herself first she was lucky enough to find an amazing foster home with Sara our vet from A Country Practice Vet Clinic. Once ready, it was time for Inis to start her search for her forever home.
Cathy and Bryan applied and after a very successful meet and greet it was time for Inis to start that journey to a place she would soon know as her forever home. We hear that Inis has settled in really well. She is loving her outings and adventures, loving her cuddles and snoozes on the sofa but, most of all, she is loving life without any worry or fear.
We are truly grateful to everyone who made her journey as loving as it was and forever grateful to Cathy and Bryan for opening up their hearts and homes to a rescue dog in need.
