A month ago we were asked to help rehome a 1 year old Lab x boy called Hugo, as his family no longer had the time to care for him. With all our kennels full of abandoned and neglected dogs we arranged for Hugo to visit us at our Sanctuary so we could meet him and assess him before doing a rehoming post. And what a beautiful, sweet natured boy Hugo was.
The most important thing, as with all our rehomings, is to find as close a perfect match as we possible can and we felt that the Noone Family ticked all the boxes we wanted for Hugo.
Last weekend Hugo and the Noone Family met and spent some time together, both out in our paddocks and in Pacos Den. Every meet and greet is done at the tempo of the dog and the family but it wasn’t long before we could all see just how happy everyone was together.
While it has only been a week, we that hear Hugo has settled in beautifully and mum Gemma says “he is amazing, we all love him to bits”.
Another happy ending which is what its all about
