As we predicted, little Hiccup didn't hang around too long. Just enough time for his assessment and vet work. We had many applications for this super little chap but, sadly, only one Hiccup.
Orla and Andrew ticked all his boxes so a meet and greet was arranged and with the home check already done prior to their visit, we all had a sneaky feeling that Hiccup wouldn't be going back to his kennel.
It was a massive hit, with beaming smiles all round, and our kennel team watched as little Hiccup strutted off, without a backward glance, to start the new life we had given him.
We hear that Hiccup has settled in as though he has always lived there. He likes to watch TV, collect shoes, get out on adventures and is delighted to have a doting Mum and Dad, all of his very own, after being found as a stray on the streets.
We are, as always, forever grateful to all the amazing people who choose to adopt not shop.
We wish Orla, Andrew and Hiccup many happy years of love and fun together.
