Bumble, arrived with her sister Bee, at the end of the summer from Carlow/Kilkenny Pound. She was an outgoing fun girl who loved running around our fields, her walks to town and generally inviting herself to be stuck in the middle of whatever was going on!!
Spayed and assessed Bumble started the search for her forever home. Mick and Andrea sent in an application. They had always had rescue dogs and now that their current dog Ted had lost his best friend, they felt Ted and they needed to give their love to another in need.
Bumble didn't need to be asked twice and after a boisterous, playful meet and greet, it was adoption forms signed and Bumble was on her way home. Of course she wasn't leaving her favourite toy behind, so it was loaded up too.
Bumble, now called Betty, took a little while to calm down as there were so many new places to explore, things to smell and floors to wee on but we hear that with some patience, routine and love, peace has been restored. Ted is showing Betty the way and Betty, in true female style, is watching and then doing everything her own way!!
We hear Ted and Betty are now very much bonded and enjoying long walks together before cuddling up together in their beds. We are so grateful to Mick and Andrea for opening up their hearts and home to a GalwaySPCA Rescue Doggie and we know that your home is filled with lots of love and joy because of it.
