And there he goes, Bunratty, the first of Queenies babies to fly the nest, headed off yesterday with his new family as he made the trip to Co. Mayo where his big brother Rocky was waiting excitedly to greet him.
Having lost their previous dog and Rockys best friend not too long ago, Tena and her family had been looking to help another rescue dog whilst also bringing some joy not just into their lives again but also Rockys as he was desperately missing his friend.
It is always hard to watch the babies leave behind the only home they have ever known, and their siblings, but it looks like Bunratty has been welcomed with open paws and has settled in straight away with Rockys help.
He even looks like he is smiling too, in that last photo.
