Boom

In May, a young merle pup was found wandering alone on the bog in Ballinasloe by a dog walker. He arrived to our sanctuary and it didn't take us long to work out this 4 month old boy was completely deaf. But we weren't about to let that stand in his way and, thankfully, a few days after his arrival Boom found himself a fantastic foster home with an amazing couple Aoibheann and Eoghan, along with their dog Odie.

A few months have passed and last weekend saw Boom arrive back to our sanctuary, this time to make his foster parents his official parents as Aoibheann, Eoghan and Odie had all decided they couldn't possibly let Boom go!!

He is such a happy boy and Aoibheann and Eoghan have done great work with him as he understands hand signals as their way of communicating with him. We are so happy to know that Boom will now be a forever part of the family where is is so loved already.

Thank you so much Aoibheann and Eoghan for not being deterred by Booms deafness and for giving him such a loving home filled with adventures, joy and lots of snuggles. You are
special people.
