A massive Thank You to the lovely staff of Petworld Direct in Knocknacara who very kindly organised a Meet and Greet in their store today for ourselves here at GalwaySPCA. A chance to mingle and chat with members of the public about our work/adoption process and for members of the public to meet some of our current doggies looking for their forever homes.
Funghi, our little Lurcher girl, along with Busby, our little hairy terrier boy, came along to show just how wonderful rescue dogs are and to tell visitors all about the rest of our lovely dogs back in kennels also hoping for a forever home, when they weren't rolling around on the floor together that is or robbing treats.
Lily and Ping Pong, who are both in foster together with the amazing Anita, also popped by. Chorus, an ex GSPCA now older Saluki girl, graced us with her presence for a little while before heading out to her bed for a snooze and probably to get away from the "youngsters" whilst her mum manned our merchandise.
Baihu, an ex Galway Spca cat, also popped along to be on the floor to answer any cat related questions. It was a lovely afternoon spent in great company. Thanks again to the Petworld Staff for being so welcoming and to our own team today, Victoria, Emma, Tara, Cliona and Anita.
