Persia

Persia

A young Saluki girl had been running for 3 days around the streets of an estate in Galway City, dragging a broken leg. Her fear of people made her ignore the horrendous pain she must have been in as she continued to evade capture. Finally exhausted and in unimaginable pain she collapsed on the street allowing her to be caught and brought to the City Pound, who rang us for help.
We responded immediately, knowing we needed to get her to our vets asap especially as the break was a few days old and she needed pain relief. Xrays showed a bad break so an appointment was made with Tim, an Orthopaedic Surgeon, at All Paws Veterinary Limerick.
It was an early start for Persia as she left our vets A Country Practice Vet Clinic as she headed for the operation to save her leg. The fact that we are full never entered our heads, once we got the call, what was important was to get this innocent, gentle, beautiful young girl the care she needed and we never turn our back on those who need us most.
Persia will face a long journey of kennel rest, numerous vet visits and possible physio before she can run free in our fields but we will be with beside her every step of the way. We will bring this beautiful girl full circle – all the way to her forever home and sofa❤️
If you can help Persia on that journey and can donate, no matter how small we would be so grateful. How you can donate
We Got This Persia ❤️Together❤️
