Today was that day, in our yearly calendar, when we gathered to promote the most gentle, loving and wonderful, and all too often overlooked, breed that is the Greyhound and its many relations of Lurcher, Saluki and whippet mixes.
Across the world today the pointy noses came out in force. Today we had 25 pointy noses along with 5 smaller non sighthound breeds strut their stuff around Rinville Park, Oranmore, in Galway.
For once the sun shone and it was a lovely day with so many beautiful hounds being the best ambassadors for their breed. A huge thank you to everyone who came along and took part.
You were all amazing.
