What a fantastic day we had at our Galway SPCA Fun Dog Show in Glenamaddy on Sunday August 9th, 2026. Despite the very Irish weather the rain certainly didn't dampen the spirits. We were blown away by the support, laughter and enthusiasm throughout the day.A very special thank you to our wonderful hosts, Rob and Victoria, for opening up their home to us and allowing us to hold our Fun Dog Show in such a beautiful setting.
A huge thank you to our judge, Dan (discovering_dann on insta) and his partner Sophie, for giving up their time and taking on the very difficult job of choosing our winners. With so many fabulous dogs, it certainly wasn't an easy task!
Thank you to all of our fantastic stall holders for joining us and helping to make the day such a success. And a very special thank you to our amazing bakers, who worked so hard creating all the delicious goodies for our baking stall. Your time, effort and generosity are very much appreciated.
To our brilliant volunteers — we simply couldn't have done it without you. From setting up and helping throughout the day, your hard work and dedication mean so much to us.
