Sashimi

Sashimi was always the second biggest in the litter and now likes to believe that she rules the pack though a few of the others would disagree. She is a confident, out going pup who likes to see what each of her siblings is up to and often causes drama when there's definitely no need for it, then merrily gallops off thinking she has put everyone in their place and is Queen B.

As with adopting any dog there is always lots of work to put in but none more so than with a puppy, especially a lurcher pup!! They have sharp teeth, sharp nails and no boundaries!! That's where you, their human, comes in as pups needs toilet training, lead training, to be socialised. Nothing will be off limits in those early months, maybe even years, as any sighthound owner will tell you.

But, if you survive those first few months you will be rewarded with one of the most loving, loyal breed of dog ever (and probably a heart condition after the many mishaps along the way🤣).

Puppies need someone at home all day and that someone had better have the patience of a saint, but just think of all those lovely, intimate moments you will be sharing along the way with your new bestie while everyone else is at work.

While we have no standard policy on rehoming to homes with children (each dog and each application is treated as the individual they are) we ask parents of very young children to think carefully before applying for a pup. Pups have sharp puppy teeth and nails that do hurt, we bear the scars🤣, and pups will not understand that your childs feet, hands, toes and hair are off limits. That is something that you, the human adult, need to be prepared to teach your dog (and in some cases your child too🥰).

Household and personal items will no longer be "just yours". They will also belong to your new pup and please don't expect those items to be returned in the same condition you left them. It is amazing how many pieces a shoe/phone/toy/your best bra/designer bag can be mulched into in 5 mins !!🤣

There is no reason our pups cannot live with other dogs, pending a meet and greet, or cats due to their young age.
