London, Clara, Peter, Robin and Alchemy

Under Assessment

It’s difficult to contain this much cuteness specially when you are trying to clean up after them!

London, Clara, Peter, Robin and Alchemy came is just as we were closing our doors one evening last week. Born to a feral cat in a barn and hidden away for a number of weeks last week the property owners began to hear the kittens crying. Over the next 24 hours the cries became more frequent and eventually the kittens arrived down to the home in search of food.

Kittens this young don't normally leave their nest but we can only guess that something has happened poor mum and she hasn’t been back to feed them. With the resident dogs a major risk to the kittens they were gathered up and kept safe until we rearranged once again.

Too young to eat properly but too old to try and get them onto a bottle, the past few days have been that of regular mush food and Syringe feeds for those struggling to get enough in. Thankfully, today all 5 kittens are now eating independently but are still very vulnerable and need lots of TLC.

The kittens are now in a foster home until they are ready for their course of vaccinations and to be spayed/neutered, at which point they will be ready to find their perfect forever homes.
